Over the past few years, I poured my heart into Journey to the Heart Horse Sanctuary — creating a space for rescued horses and women healing from trauma and abuse. It was built with love, faith, and deep purpose.
After much prayer and reflection, I’ve made the decision to close the nonprofit by March 31. Sustaining a mission like this requires consistent community support and resources, and that support has not been present in the way needed to continue responsibly.
I’m choosing to honor what was created rather than hold onto something that no longer has the structure to thrive. This isn’t an ending of my calling — it’s a redirection of it.
Healing, growth, nervous system restoration, and reclaiming identity after trauma remain at the core of who I am and how I serve.
As this chapter closes, I’m continuing my work through Rooted for Expansion — offering trauma-informed coaching for women ready to rebuild their lives with clarity and strength.

After much prayer, reflection, and honest evaluation, I want to share that Journey to the Heart Horse Sanctuary will be officially closing by March 31.
This mission began with a deep calling — to offer rescued horses a safe home and to walk alongside women healing from trauma and abuse. I am profoundly grateful for every person who believed in this vision, supported the horses, shared encouragement, donated, volunteered, or simply followed along.
Over time, it became clear that sustaining this work requires a level of consistent support, community engagement, and resources that has not been available. Rather than continuing in a place of constant strain, I am choosing to close this chapter with integrity, care, and completion.
Sometimes the bravest thing we do is acknowledge when a season is complete.
