Daisy's story is a heartbreaking one. She was abandoned and left to starve until the neighbors finally noticed. Animal Control had to sedate her because she was so aggressive. A local rescue picked her up, but unfortunately, the home they found for her wasn't suitable. The rescue asked if Journey to the Heart could take her in because she needs someone very experienced due to her struggles with self-regulation and hind end soundness issues.
